This was my first trial to a Greek chicken which was the most asked recipe to me over social media. Even I wanted to try some other recipe of chicken so I tried this delicious souvlaki chicken and it turned out super juicy and amazing. I love Italian Chicken but now after having this I love Greek chicken.  My mom totally loved it, now she calls me a proper chef…hahaha……Its now have become very rare that we eat outside food but not much of non-veg food…. If we order it’s mostly vegetarian so thought why not make some food at home which is more delicious & yummy than outside and after having this delicious Greek chicken I love my food. No matter if you are a Greek food lover or not you should try out this chicken. This chicken gives more flavors when you marinate it for 6-8 hours preferably overnight…. As we decided to have chicken as our dinner I marinated it in the afternoon and grilled at night. So, don’t wait for it, just run to your kitchen and prepare this delicious Greek souvlaki chicken.

INGREDIENTS FOR GREEK CHICKEN RECIPE

  1. 1 Ib Chicken Breast
  2. 3 Tablespoon Greek Seasoning
  3. ½ Tablespoon White Wine Vinegar
  4. 2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  5. 2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  6. 4-5 Garlic (Minced)
  7. Salt to Taste
  8. ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper

GREEK CHICKEN RECIPE– PREPARATION METHOD        

  1. Firstly, clean, dry, and cut the chicken breast into small pieces.
  2. Secondly, mix Greek seasoning, olive oil, garlic, vinegar, salt, and black pepper in a bowl and mix it well. Then add the chicken breast pieces to the mixture and coat them well and let it marinate for at least 6 hours or preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Finally, put the pieces in the skewers and grill it until it is grilled thoroughly.

 

Homemade Croissant Recipe

Hello… Welcome back to my blog….After so many efforts I made this delicious homemade croissant recipe. So, during my internship I was working in the bakery kitchen which I love the most, there one of the chefs just taught me how to roll the croissant, and since then I was an expert because then it almost became my job but making the croissant at home was quite difficult and it almost took me the whole day. But later when I prepared this I found it easy to prepare this croissant, the only thing that took me time was my oven is small I had to put it in 5-6 batches which took me the whole day. But if you are making so many efforts, trust me it’s worth it because they taste so amazing, I just love it. So if you love baking and especially bread, the croissant is worth making efforts.

INGREDIENTS FOR HOMEMADE CROISSANT RECIPE

  1. 600gms Strong White Flour
  2. 6 tablespoon Sugar
  3. 400ml Warm Milk
  4. 1 + ½ Tablespoon Yeast
  5. 1 Teaspoon Salt
  6. Butter (Soften)
  7. Egg Wash (Egg Yolk + 1 Teaspoon Milk)

HOMEMADE CROISSANT RECIPE – PREPARATION METHOD

  1. Firstly, mix yeast, sugar, and half of the milk in a bowl and leave it aside for 10-15 minutes. Then, add the flour and salt to the mixture and knead the dough using the warm milk. Then, let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  2. Secondly, knead the dough once its risen, then divide the dough into 18 pieces. Then roll out the dough in a circle and spread the softened butter and layer with another sheet of dough and repeat the same steps for all rest of the dough. (Keep stretching the layer of the dough to make it equal from bottom to top.)Then, cover it with cling film and freeze it for 30 minutes.
  3. Thirdly, remove it from the freezer and roll it with a rolling pin and make it a big round like pizza. Then, cut the dough in 12 pieces by just giving the slit in between of one triangle and start rolling outwards to give a croissant shape. Leave it aside for 30 minutes to double in size.
  4. Finally, bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes or until brown and baked.

Spicy Thai Noodles

Who does not love noodles? I can eat any type of noodles at any time and anywhere. So today I prepared these spicy Thai noodles with vegetables. Yes it does look like spaghetti and it is spaghetti, it took quite a bit more time to be fried and crispy but it turned out super delicious. Yes, people tend to use the thinner noodles so that it fries quite easily but this too was delicious. I added more of red chili sauce to make it spicy… I used spicy chili ketchup which is ketchup mixed with chili sauce which gives the taste of sweetness and spicy also. I love spaghetti especially the aglio e olio pasta are my favorite where red chili flakes are not added but i still add it to make it spicy. So if you are a Thai food lover or you love spicy, you should try this recipe.

INGREDIENTS FOR SPICY THAI NOODLES

  1. 2 Tablespoon Oil
  2. 1 Cup Carrot (Julienne)
  3. ½ Cup Green Bell Pepper (Sliced)
  4. 2 Teaspoon Garlic (Minced)
  5. ½ Cup Onion (Sliced)
  6. 10 Ounces Spaghetti (Cooked)
  7. 1/4th cup Light Soy Sauce 
  8. 1/4th Cup Green Onion
  9. 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
  10. 1 Tablespoon Red Chili Flakes
  11. 1 Tablespoon Hoisin Sauce
  12. 2 Teaspoon Corn Starch
  13. 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  14. 1 + ½  tablespoon Cold Water

SPICY THAI NOODLES – PREPARATION METHOD

  1. Firstly, heat the pan with some oil, add onion let it brown, add carrots and bell pepper and cook for 2 minutes.
  2. Then add the green onion and garlic and mix it well. Then remove the vegetables from the pan and keep it aside.
  3. Secondly, rinse the noodles properly. Then, add the oil to the pan add the noodles and cook for about 5 minutes. Then, add the vegetables back to the pan and mix it well.
  4. Meanwhile, mix hoisin sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, corn starch, red chili flakes, and cold water.
  5. Thirdly, add the sauce to the noodles and toss it well.
  6. Finally, sprinkle some sesame seeds on top.

PREPARATION TIME-  15 minutes

Flower Bread Rolls Recipe

What do you think about flower bread rolls recipe? Isn’t it interesting? So, last Friday I organized my brother’s birthday party so I prepared everything at home- from donuts, French banquette, breads, cupcakes, and many more. So, wanted to make something creative and interesting. These flower bread rolls recipe looks so amazing and satisfying. I though these bread rolls might be hard but these were super soft and spongy. I have used bread flour in this recipe but if in case you do not have bread flour; you can use all-purpose flour as well. I am just in love with the shape of this, to be more creative in the center add some chocolate or Nutella or some jam, it will look absolutely beautiful. So, if you love baking, you should definitely try different designs of breads recipe.

INGREDIENTS FOR FLOWER BREAD ROLLS

  1. 4 Cups Bread Flour
  2. 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  3. 1 + ½ Teaspoon Yeast
  4. 1/4th Cup Butter
  5. 1 Teaspoon Salt
  6. 1 Cup Milk
  7. 1 Egg
  8. Egg Wash

FLOWER BREAD ROLLS – PREPARATION METHOD

  1. Firstly, mix half of the flour, sugar, yeast and salt in a bowl. Then mix butter and milk together in pan and warm until butter melts.
  2. Secondly, mix the milk mixture and egg to the flour and knead the dough by adding the remaining flour. Then, knead for 5 minutes until soft.
  3. Thirdly, rest the dough for 1 hour or until double in size. Then, knead the dough and divide them into 12 balls.
  4. Then, round them up and make shape using scissor. Grease the baking tray and place the designed bread dough on tray, brush it with egg wash and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  5. Finally, bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until brown.

French Toast Recipe

This classic French toast recipe is super easy to prepare and one of the most eaten dishes as breakfast. In the morning, when I am in hurry to rush for my work my mom gives me this delicious French toast but being very naughty I just remove berries from this and run and while going I just eat those berries. Because I am a berry lover…hahaha… So what she now does is she gives me French toast then she tells me if you finish this I will give you berries because she knows berries aren’t going to fill my stomach. But trust me French toast is super healthy and delicious to have as your breakfast, as it said to have heavy breakfast will keep your stomach filled for a long time, and it’s true. French toast with my morning tea… omg…one of the best breakfasts to have. What do you like the most with French toast- honey or maple syrup?   1. Firstly, beat egg along with the cinnamon powder and vanilla essence. Then, add the milk and mix it well.
  2. Secondly, dip the bread slice in milk mixture, coat both sides of the bread.
  3. Thirdly, on a hot pan cook it until its brown and crisp. (Cook the bread on both sides.)

Chicken Casserole Recipe

Chicken casserole is one of the most famous baked dishes in the USA, and I have prepared one of my favorite and best chicken casserole recipes. Now, when we say casserole, it can be made with chicken, meat, fish, or with some vegetables but as I told you I am a chicken lover so thought why not share this recipe with you. Which casserole do you prefer the most? Once I had vegetable casserole at some restaurant, it was super delicious, I still remember the taste. INGREDIENTS FOR CHICKEN CASSEROLE RECIPE

  1. 100gms Pancetta
  2. 2 Tablespoon Olive oil
  3. 1kg Chicken Thighs (Halves)
  4. 1 Cup Peas
  5. 4 Garlic Cloves
  6. 2  Fresh Bay leaves
  7. ½ Cup Barley
  8. 1 Bunch Silverbeet
  9. Salt to Taste
  10. 2 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  11. Black Pepper to Taste
  12. 2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  13. 4 Cup Water
  14. 2 Leeks (Rounds)

CHICKEN CASSEROLE RECIPE – PREPARATION METHOD

  1. Firstly, add half of the olive oil in an ovenproof casserole, then add leek, garlic, and pancetta and cook it for 5 minutes over low to medium heat.
  2. Secondly, heat the dish over medium flame and the seasoned chicken (salt and black pepper) and cook it for 4- 5 minutes. Then, transfer the chicken in a bowl and cook barley for a minute or so. Then, add garlic mixture, bay leaves, and water and let it boil for 5 minutes and simmer it and cook for 30 – 40 minutes.
  3. Thirdly, add the Dijon mustard, silverbeet, lemon juice, and peas to the dish and cook for 7 minutes.
  4. Finally, adjust the seasoning and serve hot.

Vegetable Sizzler Recipe

Once I asked questions on Instagram to my audience, asking what they would like to have next on my feed and one of them asked for a vegetable sizzler. Since then, when my brother saw sizzler every day he used to force me to prepare this but because of my busy schedule I couldn’t get time to prepare but today as the weekend starts so I surprised him with this delicious vegetable sizzler. It has 4 parts- barbeque sauce, buttered rice, French fries, and cottage cheese skewers. And he loved it, it turned out super yummy and delicious.

INGREDIENTS FOR VEGETABLE SIZZLER RECIPE

FOR BARBEQUE SAUCE

  1. 2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  2. 2 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  3. 1 Small Onion (Chopped)
  4. 1 Bay leaf
  5. Salt to Taste
  6. 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  7. ½ Cup Tomato Ketchup
  8. 1 Cup Water
  9. 10-12 Coriander Leaves (Chopped)
  10. 1 + ½ Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  11. 1 Teaspoon Mustard Sauce

FOR BUTTERED RICE

  1. 1 Cup Cooked Rice
  2. 2 Tablespoon Butter
  3. 1 Tablespoon Oregano

FOR COTTAGE CHEESE

  1. 100gms Cottage Cheese (Small Cubes)
  2. 1 Onion (Big Diced)
  3. 1 Green Bell Pepper (Big Diced)
  4. 1 + ½ Teaspoon Oregano
  5. ½ Teaspoon Red Chili Flakes
  6. 1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  7. 1 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  8. 2-3 Tablespoon Olive Oil

OTHER INGREDIENTS

  1. French Fries
  2. Fresh Peas
  3. Sweet Corn
  4. Chilled Butter
  5. Cabbage

VEGETABLE SIZZLER RECIPE – PREPARATION METHOD

FOR BARBEQUE SAUCE

  1. Firstly, heat the oil in a pan, add ginger garlic paste, and onion and let it cook for a minute or two on low flame. Then, add bay leaf, tomato ketchup and mix it well.
  2. Secondly, add water and soy sauce and mix and let it cook on low to medium flame. Then, once the sauce starts boiling add mustard sauce and cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
  3. Finally, when it cools down strain the sauce in the strainer.

FOR BUTTERED RICE

  1. Firstly, melt the butter in a pan.
  2. Secondly, add the rice and mix it until it is combined with rice properly.
  3. Finally, top it up with some oregano and mix it well.

FOR COTTAGE CHEESE

  1. Firstly, in a bowl mix oregano, red chili flakes, red chili powder, salt. Ginger garlic paste and olive oil.
  2. Secondly, add the bell pepper, onions, and cottage cheese and toss it. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Thirdly, assemble it in skewers by putting onion, bell pepper, and cottage cheese and then repeating the same steps.
  4. Finally, bake at 200 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until it’s properly baked.

FOR ASSEMBLING

  1. Firstly, heat the sizzler plate, remove it from the heat. Then, place the cabbage leaves on a hot sizzler plate.
  2. Secondly, put the buttered rice, French fries, cottage cheese skewers. Then top up with some peas and sweet corn. Then pour the barbeque sauce on top.
  3. Finally, add the chilled butter on the sizzler plate and serve immediately.

One of the best lasagna recipe I have prepared. Lasagna is everyone’s favorite dish. It’s the best way to serve in a party as prepare it in quantity and put it in buffet because it easily gets reheated and does not get spoiled in the freeze. The recipe for veggie lasagna is super simple and delicious. It’s the most asked recipe on Instagram since long people are asking me to post the easy recipe of lasagna and here it is.

INGREDIENTS FOR BEST LASAGNA RECIPE

  1. 8 Lasagna Sheets
  2. 1 ½ Tablespoon Oil
  3. 1/3rd Cup Sweet Corn
  4. Salt to Taste
  5. 1 Large Potato (Small Diced)
  6. 1 Medium Onion (Chopped)
  7. Black Pepper to Taste
  8. 1 Tablespoon Garlic (Minced)
  9. 1 Carrot (Small Diced)
  10. 8 French Beans (Chopped)
  11. ½  Teaspoon Thyme
  12. 1 Teaspoon Oregano
  13. 1 Teaspoon Red Chili Flakes
  14. ½ Cup Spinach
  15. Mozzarella Cheese
  16. Red Pasta Sauce
  17. White Pasta Sauce

BEST LASAGNA RECIPE – PREPARATION METHOD

  1. Firstly, boil the lasagna sheets in boiled water and add some salt and oil to it. Then, drain the water and let it cool down.
  2. Secondly, heat the oil, add garlic, red chili flakes, oregano, and thyme and mix it well and cook it for a minute on low flame. Then, add onion, potato, carrots, French beans, sweet corn, and spinach. Add some salt and black pepper and mix it well. Then cover it with a lid and cook for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are dried and have soaked all the moisture. 
  3. Thirdly, in a glass baking tray add some red pasta sauce, layer lasagne sheet then spread red and white sauce, then add the vegetable mixture, top some mozzarella sheet, and layer one more sheet of lasagne. Repeat the same steps to fill the tray and then top it up with mozzarella cheese and red chili flakes.
  4. Finally, cover the tray with aluminum foil and bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes or until the sauce starts boiling.

Homemade French Fries

Who does not love French fries, its everyone’s all-time favorite snack to have. I usually used to get the frozen French fries but two years back, when I got them while frying them it used to stink and used to smell a lot but later I tried different brands but faced the same issues. But then one day I tried these crispy homemade French fries and it turned out so much like outside and much more crispy and it doesn’t require too much effort. You just have to cut them lengthwise, soak it in cold water for some time, pat try, toss it in salt and fry them. Super easy to prepare. The secret to getting the fries perfect as outside and crispy is to remove the starch completely and that is done by soaking it in cold water for at least 2 hours and also if you do not want your fries to get soggy too quick them fry them twice. I am sure if your try these two tips you will definitely get perfect French fries.

INGREDIENTS FOR HOMEMADE FRENCH FRIES

  1. 8 Russet Potatoes
  2. Salt to Taste
  3. Vegetable Oil (For Frying)
  4. Oregano
  5. Ketchup

HOMEMADE FRENCH FRIES – PREPARATION METHOD

  1. Firstly, peel and cut the potatoes in ½ inch thick long sticks. (You can also cut with French fry cutter)
  2. Secondly, soak the potatoes in cold water for 2-3 hours. Then, rinse it with cold water.
  3. Thirdly, pat dry the fries using a paper towel and toss them in salt.
  4. Then, deep fry them in two batches, make sure you do not fill the pan. Fry them on medium to high flame for 5 minutes or until light brown.
  5. Finally, sprinkle some oregano and serve it with ketchup.

Garlic Dinner Rolls

Ohhh!!! This is so easy…. Yes, it only requires simple six ingredients to prepare this garlic dinner rolls. Making flavored dinner rolls is much better than simple dinner rolls. Soft and spongy and when you eat them hot it just tastes amazing. So I baked them today morning and left for work, when I came back in the evening only the last few pieces were left and could not get a perfect picture of it as I wanted because my family finished it all. It was super yummy and delicious. These dinner rolls do not taste homemade, it tastes the same as it came from the bakery. When I baked my first bread since then I am just in love with baking bread, that dough when it rises just excites me so much to see the final product, and let me tell you my brother always tells me that he is tired of eating bread but he cannot stop himself to eat the bread I make… hahaha….This is one of the easiest to make flavored dinner rolls.

INGREDIENTS FOR GARLIC DINNER ROLLS

  1.  1+ ½ Cup All-Purpose Flour
  2. 1 Tablespoon Yeast
  3. 3/4th Teaspoon Salt
  4. 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  5. ½ Cup Warm Water
  6. 1 Tablespoon Sugar

FOR GARLIC MIXTURE

  1. 1 Tablespoon Butter
  2. 1 Teaspoon Garlic (Minced)
  3. 5-6 Leaves Parsley Leaves
  4. 1 + 1/ Teaspoon Olive Oil

GARLIC DINNER ROLLS –PREPARATION METHOD

  1. Firstly, in warm water dissolve yeast and sugar and keep it aside for 5 minutes.
  2. Secondly, mix salt and flour and knead the dough with yeast and water mixture (add more water if required).
  3. Then, add olive oil and knead the dough for 5 minutes and let it rest for next 1 hour.
  4. Thirdly, divide the dough into six equal portions and roll it in a ball shape. Then, put the rolled dough in greased tin keeping some space in between and let it proof for another 45 minutes.
  5. Then, slit cross ward in the middle and add the garlic mixture (Mix all the garlic mixture and pour half teaspoon on each dinner roll).
  6. Finally, bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes or until brown from top.
