Crispy Potato Wedges

These Crispy potato wedges just reminds me of my favorite place Tim Hortons. In my university I have Tim Hortons, once a week I used to buy those crispy potato wedges with spicy sauce….those days were the best. But since this year they have stopped selling potato wedges which made me super sad since the last few months I was craving or garlic potato wedges so much. So today I decided to make these potato wedges with so much energy, even though my mom cooked the dinner already, I said no I will make the wedges anyhow but unfortunately, it was not my day, my oven stopped working so I ran to my aunt’s house to cook these delicious and easy potato wedges. My effort was worth it because it turned out so delicious and yummy. Even after my family finished dinner they did eat these delicious wedges, they couldn’t keep themselves away from these crispy wedges. It was quite similar to Parmesan baked potatoes but these were quite more crisper than that.


  1. 6 Potatoes (Rinsed)
  2. 4-5 Garlic Cloves (Minced)
  3. 1/4th Cup Olive Oil
  4. 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
  5. Salt to Taste
  6. 1 Teaspoon Paprika
  7. Black Pepper to Taste
  8. 2 Tablespoon Parsley (Chopped)
  9. 2/3rd cup Parmesan Cheese 


  1. Firstly, preheat the oven at 200 degrees. Then, peel the potatoes and cut them into wedges lengthwise.
  2. Secondly, in a small bowl, mix oil, garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and onion powder. Then add the rinsed wedges and coat them well in this dry mixture.
  3. Thirdly, grease the baking tray with oil and layer the wedges evenly on the tray.
  4. Then, sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on top and bake for 40 minutes or until crispy and cooked properly.


BAKING TIME-40 minutes

Quesadilla Recipe

One of the best and most loved dishes for the parties. Being honest you do not need the recipe to cook these delicious cheesy chicken quesadilla. Top tortilla bread with your favorite filling and you will have the best quesadilla ready on your plate. Usually, when I have leftovers I mix them with some spices, adjust seasoning, and make a quesadilla. I feel this not only finishes the leftovers but also gives you a new dish on your plate with a new flavor. This dish is the best way to use your leftovers fillings. So let’s make this easy and quick quesadilla recipe.


  1. 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  2. 1 Bell Pepper (Chopped)
  3. Salt to Taste
  4. 500gms Boneless Chicken Breast (Thin Sliced)
  5. 1 Onion (Chopped)
  6. 1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano
  7. ½ Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  8. Black Pepper to Taste
  9. 1 Tablespoon Oil
  10. ½ Teaspoon Cumin Powder
  11. 2 Cups Shredded Cheese
  12. 2 Green Onions (Sliced)
  13. Avocado Paste
  14. 2 Tortilla


  1. Firstly, Heat the oil in a pan, add the bell peppers, onion, salt, and black pepper and cook it for 5-6 minutes or until onion is brown and peppers get soft.
  2. Secondly, heat the skillet adding some oil, then add the chicken breast and season it with chili powder, cumin powder, black pepper, and salt and cook it on medium to high flame until it becomes brown on both the sides.
  3. Thirdly, heat the pan, put the tortilla bread. Then top the half tortilla with bell pepper mixture and chicken mixture and top it with shredded cheese. Then add the avocado paste and green onions on the top.
  4. Finally , fold the other half tortilla and press it well to cook the tortillas on both sides by flipping. Serve hot.

Teriyaki is an authentic Japanese sauce that is used as marinade or glazes over meats and fish. The easy teriyaki chicken is now super trending and a new favorite recipe of my family. It was Friday when we mostly eat non-veg so after a long discussion I decided to give my family a treat, so I prepared this delicious, spicy wit quite a bit of sweetness teriyaki chicken with steamed rice and since then they expect me to prepare this every Friday. This chicken tastes like Chinese chicken. Teriyaki sauce has quite a balanced flavor and aroma of ginger, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, and wine. This teriyaki sauce recipe goes very well with fish as fish is tender and is quite juicy just gives amazing flavors to it. So try out this delicious recipe and let me know how it turned out. 


  1. 600gms Boneless Chicken Thighs
  2. 1 + ½ Tablespoon Oil
  3. 3 Cloves Garlic
  4. 1/4th Cup Soy Sauce
  5. 3 Tablespoon Sugar
  6. 2 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  7. 2 Tablespoon White Wine
  8. Salt to Taste
  9. 1 + 1/2 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
  10. 1 Shallots
  11. 3 Cups Broccoli (Steamed)
  12. 1 Teaspoon Corn Starch + Tablespoon Water


  1. Firstly, heat the oil in a pan, stir fry the chicken until brown and crispy on medium to high heat.
  2. Secondly, in a small bowl, add soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, white wine, sesame oil, and sugar and mix it well.
  3. Then, add the garlic in the center of the pan and mix it until it is slightly brownish.
  4. Thirdly, pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and cook it for 4-5 minutes by stirring it in between.
  5. Finally, add the steamed broccoli and shallots and serve it with steamed rice.

Mushroom Toast

Mushrooms are just heaven and this mushroom toast is just so amazing and easy to prepare. I am just in love with this quick to prepare toast. When your kids are in a cranky mood and are tired hungry I feel this is the best way to serve them yummy food with enough amounts of nutrients. You can use a lot of more ingredients in this toast such as some spinach, colorful bell peppers, and many more but as I was out of all this I had to prepare this for my cranky niece.

This was my favorite breakfast during my university days as, in the morning I had back to back classes, so it is easy to pick up one in hand and eat while working. You can create a variety of flavors and aroma using this recipe. It is the best appetizer dish or side dish with some fried egg. After dealing with these cute little kids I love to see their cranky mood so I can create a new dish every time for them. At times I also feel like kids having their meal with them so don’t worry if your kids are in the cranky mood I have the best recipe for them.


  1. 500gm Mushroom (Chopped)
  2. 4 Garlic Cloves
  3. 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli Flakes
  4. 1 Teaspoon Thyme
  5. 2 Tablespoon Butter
  6. 2 Bun Bread

  1. Firstly, heat the pan add butter and let it melt, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  2. Then, chopped mushrooms and add some thyme and mix it well.
  3. Secondly, remove it from the heat, spread the cream cheese on the bread, add the mushroom mixture, top it up with red chili flakes, and mozzarella cheese.
  4. Finally, bake at 200 degrees for 10 minutes.

Vegan Burrito Recipe

The most easiest and delicious and my favorite vegan burrito recipe. I like the vegetarian version of burrito compare to non-vegetarian. So one fine day guests were coming to my place and no one was at home and I was quite young, my mom just called me up and said guests are coming keep, cook something, she did not even realize that I don’t know how to cook or I cannot to cook without any guidance, so I saw some rice and beans in my refrigerator I just mixed them in a pan, adding some spices and rolled up in tortilla and guests loved it, my family was impressed by me, I did not even realize that I prepared this yummy Mexican burrito. So I would say that this dish is inspired by me….Hahaha… So It is quite an easy recipe one should try it this out. 


  1. 2 Cup Cooked Rice
  2. 1 Cup Boiled Black Beans
  3. 2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  4. 2 Tablespoon Cilantro (Chopped)
  5. 1 Tablespoon Oil
  6. 3 Garlic Cloves (Minced)
  7. 1 Onion (Chopped)
  8. 1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  9. ½ Teaspoon Cumin Powder
  10. Salt to Taste
  11. Avocado Paste
  12. 2 Tortillas


  1. Firstly, mix lemon juice and cilantro along with cooked rice and keep it aside.
  2. Secondly, heat the oil; add garlic and onion and sauté until onion becomes translucent. Then, add beans, red chili powder, cumin powder, and salt and mix it well. Then, cover it with lid and cook it for 2-3 minutes on slow flame.
  3. Thirdly, warm up the tortillas on a pan, add lemon rice mixture and beans mixture, and top it up with an avocado paste.
  4. Finally, fold the side ends and roll it up.

Prawns With Orange Juice

Welcome back with another delicious recipe. Many of my friends asked an easy prawn recipe, I suggested this garlic flavored orange prawns because it is one of the easy and quick recipes to prepare. I do not eat prawns too often but if I have to prepare any of the prawns’ recipes I always suggest this. It is super delicious and orange goes with prawns. Any citrus fruit goes with prawns and gives a natural aroma to the dish. Most of the time I make chicken and do not serve seafood to my family so thought why not to prepare some seafood, these prawns I first tried at my uncle’s birthday party which was mixed by too many citrus fruits but to give a simple flavor and taste I choose just to add orange to it. This dish is perfectly paired with rice. So try out this delicious recipe and let me know how it turned out?


  1. 1/4th cup Butter
  2. 1 + ½ Tablespoon Parsley (Chopped)
  3. Salt to Taste
  4. ½ Teaspoon Smoked Paprika

Stuffed Mushroom

Amazing stuffed mushroom recipe with just a few ingredients. The other day when I went to the grocery shop I saw these fresh mushrooms and bought them. Today after my everyone came from the office we were thinking about what to cook for dinner but couldn’t think of anything so I went to the kitchen and saw some ingredients so thought why not make classic and easy stuffed mushrooms. It is super easy to prepare and it is quite healthy as well. It hardly took me 30 minutes to prepare stuffed mushrooms. Now, this has cream cheese which does not make it healthy, don’t worry you can skip the cream cheese and quite a more of parmesan cheese which is quite healthy cheese. It turned out super yummy and creamy and I used fresh thyme and parsley which had an amazing aroma.


  1. 500gms Mushroom
  2. 2 Tablespoon Butter
  3. 4 Garlic Cloves (Minced)
  4. 1 Medium Onion (Chopped)
  5. 2 Green Chilies (Chopped)
  6. ¼th Cup Breadcrumbs
  7. ¼th Cup Parmesan Cheese + more for topping
  8. 4 Oz Cream Cheese
  9. 1 + ½ Tablespoon Thyme (Chopped)
  10. A handful of Parsley (Chopped)
  11. Salt to Taste
  12. Black Pepper to taste


  1. Firstly, preheat the oven at 180 degrees. Then remove the stems of mushroom and chop them.
  2. Secondly, heat the pan, melt butter and then add garlic, chili, and onion and saute until it brown. Then add mushroom stems, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper and mix it well.
  3. Then, remove it from the heat and let it cool, then add cream cheese, thyme, parsley, and Parmesan cheese and mix it well.
  4. Thirdly, Fill the mushroom caps with mixture and top it up with some Parmesan cheese.
  5. Finally, bake for 20 minutes or until mushrooms are dark and perfectly cooked.

Harlequin Bread

Harlequin bread is one of my most favorite bread. It’s been on my list for a long time but never got a chance to prepare. So the other day I wanted to bake something so thought of asking my family where they ended up telling me that half people wanted to eat brown bread and half of them wanted to eat white bread. So I gave them a suggestion why not make both loaves of bread in one and they were like look that’s not possible it’s better to make two separate loaves of bread whereas the impossible came out to be possible. I have not tried harlequin bread before but when I thought of this concept I was impressed by what my bread turned it. It was super soft and delicious and when you can have fresh two in one bread together, the feeling is just amazing.


For White Bread

  1. 125gms All-Purpose Flour
  2. 5gms Yeast
  3. 5gms Sugar
  4. 2.5gms Salt
  5. 2.5gms Oil

For Brown Bread

  1. 65gms All-Purpose Flour
  2. 65gms Whole Wheat Flour
  3. 5gms Yeast
  4. 5gms Sugar
  5. 2.5gms Fat
  6. 2.5gms Salt
  7. 1 Tablespoon Caramel/ Honey


  1. Firstly, prepare the dough by mixing all the ingredients for white and brown bread separately. Then, rub the fat and salt together and incorporate it with the dough.
  2. Secondly, cover both the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30-40 minutes.
  3. Then, again knead the dough and proof it for 30 minutes.
  4. Thirdly, roll out each dough into a circle and place the brown rolled out one over the white dough and roll up like a Swiss roll.
  5. Then, grease the baking tin and place the rolled dough in the tin. Then, allow it to proof for more half an hour in the oven.
  6. Finally, bake at 200 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool it on wire rack.

Rainbow Cheese Sandwich

What’s this Rainbow Cheese Sandwich? Many people asked me. It is nothing but sandwhich made with colorful cheese. So, today after a long time I met my students whom I used to teach calligraphy. I invited them to my place and had a lot of fun. As everyone knows how much kids love cheese so that I’ll prepare one of the best rainbow cheese sandwiches, so I added some different colors in cheese gave this delicious sandwich with some avocado chocolate smoothie. Even one of my friends called me up the other day that she is tired of her brother because he does not eat the normal food these days, I suggested her to give her something which he likes and something which is also healthy for kids. Of course when kids here about avocado they say no, so why not give them some chocolate and cheese sandwich is anyways the most amazing dish for kids. So let me tell what happen exactly happens when kids saw their food, first, they were excited to see this yummy colorful sandwich, and secondly, they never realized that there was avocado in the smoothie. So, I feel It’s always god to make kids try their favorite dish with some healthy things.


  1. 1 Cup Cheese
  2. 2-3 Drops Food Color
  3. 4 Bread Slices
  4. 1 Tablespoon Butter


  1. Firstly, divide the cheese equally in four bowls and add different food coloring in the cheese. Then, mix it well.
  2. Secondly, heat the pan add butter, and let it melt. Then add the slice of bread and add the cheese of different colors in the line.
  3. Thirdly, top up with another slice of bread and press it firmly. Let it cook properly both the side.
  4. Finally, serve hot with some ketchup.

Homemade Salsa Recipe

Classic homemade salsa recipe prepared with tomatoes, onions, jalapeño, garlic, cilantro, red chilies and lemon juice. It is best prepared with fresh tomatoes as it gives the better in fact best flavor to salsa. Of course most of people asks why it can’t be prepared with canned tomatoes, yes it can be but fresh ingredients gives natural aroma which gives better flavor to your dish. It is best served with nachos. This is my mom’s recipe when one fine day I bough lots of nachos from supermarket but when I checked I did not have salsa at home so my mom made this super easy salsa recipe. This Mexican salsa recipe has just perfect ratio of all the ingredients, it does not has too much onion, garlic or chilies. It is super easy to prepare and the best thing it can be stored for longer time. When we know that we are gonna have get together at home in advance we prepare salsa and store it because it is very easy to serve and I feel it is best party snack served.   1. 9 Tomatoes
  2. 1 Onion
  3. 4 Garlic Cloves
  4. 1/2 Cup Cilantro
  5. 2 Jalapeno 
  6. 2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  7. Salt to Taste
  8. 3 Whole Red Chili


  1. Firstly, chop four tomatoes, onion, garlic, cilantro and jalapeño and mix it well. Then refrigerate it.
  2. Secondly, in a hot pan roast the rest of tomatoes and whole red chili until it soft and perfectly roasted. 
  3. Then, let it cool for some time and blend it in a blender with whole red chili. 
  4. Thirdly, mix the roasted tomato mixture with other mixture and nix it well.
  5. Finally, refrigerate it for 1 -2 hours and can be stored unto 1 month in refrigerator.
