Bloody Mary

Bloody mary name itself says the color of the drink. Yes, it’s red. It’s a vodka-based cocktail where tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and horseradish are added with tomato juice. It’s quite a spicy drink but vodka lovers just love it. I do not like vodka too much, I find it fizzier so I made this spicy bloody mary for my vodka lover uncle which he loved it. There is another version of this cocktail which is made with tequila which is called Bloody Maria and another version is with gin which is called Caesar which is as amazing as this. I believe if you are a vodka lover you should try this perfect bloody mary cocktail. This recipe has some amazing garnishes and I garnished it with olives, parsley, celery, and lemon. You can garnish it in many other ways like shrimps, cherry tomatoes, and many more. Also at times some of the herbs are also added to the drink as per your choice.

INGREDIENTS FOR BLOODY MARY

  1. 2 Oz Vodka
  2. 2 Dashes of Worcestershire Sauce
  3. 1 Lemon
  4. 1 Lime
  5. 4 Oz Tomato Juice
  6. 1 + ½ Teaspoon Horseradish
  7. 1 dash Tabasco Sauce
  8. Celery Salt
  9. Black Pepper to taste
  10. A pinch Paprika

For Garnish

  1. Lemon Wedges,
  2. Celery Stalk
  3. Olives
  4. Parsley

 

PREPARATION METHOD- BLOODY MARY

  1. Firstly, apply lemon to the edge of the glass and rim it with celery salt.
  2. Secondly, squeeze the lemon and lime into the shaker along with tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, black pepper, tomato juice with some crushed ice and shake it well. Then, strain the juice in a glass and add in the vodka and stir it well.
  3. Finally, garnish it with lemon wedges, olives, parsley, and celery and serve. Add some ice cubes if required.
